Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals in a healthcare or childcare setting - Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding - Administer medication under the supervision of a nurse - Monitor and document vital signs and medical conditions - Implement behavior management strategies as directed by a supervisor - Assist with lifting and transferring individuals who have limited mobility - Collaborate with case managers and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans Skills:
- Knowledge of medical terminology and understanding of HIPAA regulations - Experience working with individuals with behavioral challenges or special needs - Ability to effectively communicate and interact with individuals of all ages and backgrounds - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (if required for the position) - Experience in hospice care or case management is a plus This role requires compassion, patience, and the ability to adapt to different situations.
