Computer System Analyst II Network Technician with Security Clearance

We are pipelining candidates for a future role Contingent upon Contract Award Valiant is seeking a Computer System Analyst II Network Technician for W-TRSPotential locations could include:
California, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington, Korea and potential additional CONUS locationsEssential job duties include but are not limited to:
o Provides overall support for setting up and maintaining the physical network required for the Mission Training Complex (MTC) classrooms, VBS3 Enhanced Convoy Training System, and Battle Simulations Center (BSC)
Responsibilities:
o Develops network and system architectures for Battle Command Exercises and coordinates requirements with the units o Creates and installs LAN cables and assists with physical movement & arranging of equipmento Monitors simulation system performance to ensure maximum optimization o Troubleshoots and identifies system issues o Resolves interoperability problems to obtain operations across all Army Mission Command System (AMCS) platforms including email, file transfer, multimedia, and teleconferencingo Analyzes voice, data, and multi-media communications networks, including planning, designing, evaluating, selecting, and upgrading operating systems and protocol suites and configuring communication media, and other deviceso Coordinates requirements with the JLCCTC ERF Federation users and senior system administrators and the LVC-IA administrators o Administers network security and works with vendors to evaluate new products and resolve equipment design problems o Provides guidance and leadership to virtual warriors, unit staff and MTC staffo Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies and participates in special projects; Provides and executes cross training with other technicians and performs other duties assigned by the section leado Document all maintenance actions by inputting data in ISTSo May be required to support other devices and will be cross trained, as neededMental/Physical requirements for this role include:
o Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbsand wear appropriate personal protective equipment as appropriateAbility to perform duties in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, wind and rain) and at heighto Willing to work a flexible workweeko Must have or be able to obtain a valid state driver's license and maintain post driving privilegeso Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigationo This position may require travel to other installations and other WTRS locations throughout CONUS and OCONUSBasic
Qualifications:
o Commercial Computing Environment Certification; 2-3 years of experience commensurate with the positiono US citizenship is requiredPossess an Active Secret US Government Clearance or ability to obtain a clearanceDesired Skills:
