Logistics Specialist with Security Clearance
We are pipelining candidates for a future role Contingent upon Contract Award Valiant is seeking a Logistics Specialist I for W-TRSPotential locations could include:
California, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington, Korea, and potential additional CONUS locationsEssential job duties include but are not limited to:
o Logistics Specialist will be working in a warehouse environment with duties that include but are not limited to processing orders utilizing commercial software, Inspection and Receiving, Packing, Shipping, Stocking material and other duties assigned by team leader
Responsibilities:
o Oversees shipping, receiving, packaging, and storage of items in stock locations IAW Government and contract guidelineso Assist in providing oversight of all Government and contractor property, tools, and test equipmento Perform inspections and accountability of all propertyo Work with minimal supervision, documenting inventory and shipment of property and work orders via local and web- based reporting system, o Providing system functional briefings to team, customer, and management teamo Perform logistic support requirements such as research, equipment, and spare part inventorieso Provides logistics guidance and work leadership IAW contract requirements and work processes; Provide effective communication to/from your subordinates and upper managemento Able to conduct a quality audit to ensure corporate and contract complianceo Conduct property turn-in to the Defense Logistics Agencyo Complete and file receiving reports and documentation o Prepare reports as required o Participates in special projects as required o Perform all other duties as assignedo Document all logistics actions (inventories, transfers, etc.
) by inputting data into the ISTSMental/Physical requirements for this role include:
o Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbsand wear appropriate personal protective equipment as appropriateAbility to perform duties in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, wind and rain) and at heighto Willing to work a flexible workweeko Must have or be able to obtain a valid state driver's license and maintain post driving privilegeso Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigationo This position may require travel to other installations and other WTRS locations throughout CONUS and OCONUSBasic
Qualifications:
o Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and experience equivalent Relevant Bachelor's degree and/or experience in logistics or related area o US citizenship is requiredPossess an Active Secret US Government Clearance or ability to obtain a clearanceDesired Skills:
